Willkommen in Karamelle!
Karamelle is here, and we couldn’t be more excited–or should we say, aufgeregt! Karamelle allows wizards to pass level 140 and offers a new round of spells to learn and enjoy. Your adventure begins with speaking to Librarian FitzHume in the Arcanum, and takes you through a small plot line in the Arcanum before revisiting Bastion in Khrysalis. After Bastion is passed, you are brought to the Arcanum one more where you can then progress to the new world.
Once you are in Karamelle, there are beautiful areas to be explored. This seemingly Disney-inspired world is riddled with tributes to the most successful company around: Nana’s Old Fashioned Karamelle Delights.
Karamelle consists of nine areas: Karamelle City, Rock Candy Mountains, Von Trap Estate, Gumdrop Forest, Sweetzburg, Gutenstadt, Nibbleheim, Nibbleheim Mines, Candy Corn Farm, Black Licorice Forest, and Gobblerton. Gutenstadt is not listed on the primary map of the world, but can be found within the Nibbleheim map.
When you arrive in Karamelle, you are greeted with a greeting performance by a few gummy bears. Something doesn’t sit quite right during the performance, as the gummies are starting to get agitated. Before they can truly make a scene, the show is shut down. This action by the gummy bears is just a small glimpse into a bigger issue. Something is turning the gummy bears sour! Not to mention, cavities are popping up all over–cause unknown.
Nana is a lot of things, but she is definitely persistent. As you go through Karamelle, pay attention to just how much Nana propaganda there is. As you may recall, part of the announcement of Karamelle was a sales associate in need of help in the commons. This sales-wizard was working directly for Nana’s company and was struggling with placing all the advertisements needed. A desire to broadcast her treats throughout Wizard City was part of a bigger picture: market domination.
Along with souring the gummy bears of Karamelle, Nana has a goal to spread her Old Fashioned Delights throughout the Spiral. It’s your job to put a stop to her ways and get a handle on the cavity situation that is rapidly spreading.
